After Kenny accidentaly kills a cop's diabetic horse by feeding it the food he purchased from a munchie run, he is put in jail and is given a 1 million dollar bail. The rest of the group must bail Kenny out before Nasty Nate gets to him. The group decides to sell marijuana that Thurgood gets through his job as a janitor at a pharmaceutical lab. They become pals with rap star Sir Smoke-A-Lot and the rivals of dealer Samson Simpson. On the side, Thurgood seeks the love of Mary Jane, an anti-pot daughter of a dealer. What follows is typical pothead behaviour with a ton of cameos. Look carefully.
Imported Comments: Half Baked is one of the greatest comedies of all time. Every second of it will keep you laughing for years. There are so many lines that are just memorable. The story runs like an Adam Sandler film, one night four friends (David Chappelle, Guillermo Díaz, Jim Breuer, Harland Williams) get messed up and Kenny(Williams) go out to get munches. On his way coming back he feeds a police horse who's diabetic. The horse dies and Kenny is sent to jail. The three friends must raise enough money to get Kenny out before prison type things happen to him. This plot is just a small port for hilarious comedy. Chappelle narrates the film and does a good job at getting the audience to laugh even at serious situations. It's almost a spoof on the normal serious narration in big budget dramas. The person who stands out the most is Jim Breuer. Every times he opens his mouth he got a laugh from me. He's so stupid you can't help but laugh. This film also carries the comedy cameo appearances routine. There are many surprise guests in this film. Some of which won't be too big of a surprise. Half Baked is full of riotous comedy and that every scene will get someone laughing. It's a comedy classic that is very underrated. If you haven't seen it or just heard about it, go out and get it. You'll thanks yourself later and almost die laughing in the process.
